ALBERGO VILLA PALMA

Hotel Villa Palma, intimate and elegant, refined retreat nesting among green lawns, far from town traffic, oasis of peace in a domestic atmosphere.


This Villa was built in the seventeenth century by the Capovillla family, aristocrats from Bassano and Padua, and was enlarged in the nineteenth century by Antonio Chemin, called Palma, its namesake.

It is situated in the quiet secluded area of Casoni di Mussolente.
Guests are housed in an aristocratic eighteenth-century Venetian villa which has kept its old charm intact.


The loveliest and undoubtedly most charming bedrooms and those in the attic, where there is a wooden trussed ceiling.


The pastel coloured walls, going from pink to pale blue to yellow ochre are matched by the curtains, the bed cover and the armchairs.


Twenty-one bedrooms, including one suite, eight junior suites, seven double and five single rooms.


The suites and some junior suites have bath or shower with hydromassage-sauna incorporated.


Each rooms is furnished differently, but they all have a sophisticated remote control system installed on the bedside cabinet, which may be directly activated.


When guests enter, all they have to do is insert a magnetic card and everything begins to work as they want.


All the rooms have the possibility of being connected to data banks by personal computer and telefax.


Personal safe, air conditioning, satellite television, Free Wi-Fi dsl connection, fridge-bar and double telephone: in other words, high technology in a house emanating old nobility.


The portico leading into a garden with English lawns and an old stone well in the centre, has been glazed and now houses the restaurant, bar and breakfast room.


However, Villa Palma‘sfame is dictated above all by its restaurant, La Loggia (closed Wednesday).


The chef always pays particular attention to the change of seasons and prepares dishes inspired by the first fruits and vegetables of each season.
