HOTEL LEOPOLDO (50 metres from the sea: you cand find stone beach or sand beach) is a quiet and nice hotel in Castiglioncello (20 km from Livorno, 30 km from Pisa, 100 km from Florence, 300 km from Milan and from Rome), a little and beautiful seaside resort of The Etruscan Coast, in Tuscany.
From Castiglioncello, you can arrive by car in 80 minutes to Firenze and Volterra, in 40 minutes to Pisa.
All rooms (DOUBLE and TRIPLE) have bathroom with shower, air conditioning or heating, direct telephone, tv set and minibar.
A nice accommodation, like a little suite, is available for a family (4 or 5 beds), composed by:
a) double twin bedded room (tv set, telephone, minibar)
b) bathroom with shower
c) double or triple room (tv set, telephone, sea view balcony)
You can find at least 10 restaurants from 50 to 300 metres from the hotel.
About beach (stone and sand), there are at least ten different bathing establishments, where you can rent deck chairs and beach umbrella, from 50 to 500 m: we suggest you Bagni Ausonia (with bar and restaurant) and Bagni Roma (with bar and restaurant).
We suggest you to go to "spiagge bianche" between Rosignano and Vada, only 3 kilometres far from HOTEL LEOPOLDO: it is a wonderful white sand public beach for a tropical suntan!
HOW TO ARRIVE:
A) You can arrive by CAR (our car parking has 6 places; you can park also in front of the hotel or near the hotel):
a) you take motorway A12 Genova - Rosignano Marittimo (direction Rosignano Marittimo): exit Rosignano Marittimo
b) you take ss1 Via Aurelia direction Livorno: third exit Castiglioncello
you go on until the centre of Castiglioncello: Piazza della Vittoria (there is Caff� Ginori)
c) via Marconi is the second on the right after Piazza della Vittoria (at the corner there is Caff� Aria, 100 metres from railways station)
B) You can arrive by TRAIN (Hotel Leopoldo is far only 300 metres from Castiglioncello's railways station).
You take on the right until the first on the left, via Marconi (at the corner there is Caff� Aria)
C) You can arriver by PLANE (Pisa airport is far only 30 km): from Pisa you can arrive to Castiglioncello by train or by taxi .
