Agriturismo "Parmenide" is in the heart of the "Parco del Cilento e Vallo di Diano": a wonder under the open sky of incomparable environmental value, which has preserved the harmony between nature and history for thousands of years.


As a cultural und natural heritage of UNESCO, "Parco del Cilento e Vallo di Diano" enchants all visitors with its wonderful landscapes.


Located on the coastline between Punta Licosa and the promontory of Palinuro, Agriturismo "Parmenide" has a privileged position: it is 3 km from the archaeological park of Velia, where you can find Hellenistic and Roman remains of the ancient town near the Aragonese Castle, 2 km from the beaches of Ascea and Casalvelino, and less than 20 km from Palinuro.


Our farm offers a unique insight into rural life, allowing the enjoyment of simple pleasures, encouraged by our passion for nature and tradition.


Our love for traditional values and the wish to please our guests led us to build facilities providing all comforts in a safe and pleasant environment.


Our care for the external environment, where old farm tools surround blooming flowerbeds, is accompanied by a high-quality catering and customer service.

Our tastefully decorated bedrooms are provided with en-suite facilities, minibar and common areas.


The typically rural cooking is based on old recipes of the Cilento region, which includes home grown vegetables, legumes, oil and wheat.
Housewives bake bread and knead dough every day.

All our products are home-made and genuine, and are displayed in a nice little show room, where they are on sale.
Agriturismo "Parmenide" provides use of a tennis court and a football ground.


In the near future, horse-riding tracks, a swimming pool, workshops for the production of fresh pasta, tomato sauce and jam, a fitness centre and a conference room for environment-protection training courses will be built.
