COUNTRY HOUSE CASA CANTONE

Casa Cantone was for centuries an indipendent village,with his own church, school and bakery.
Having been completely renovated maintaining it'own original character it is a perfect place to pass a peaceful and relaxing holiday,with the opportunity of visiting in the nearby vicinity famous artistical villages like Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Todi and Perugia.

Our sporting attivities include the use of our biclycles and the private swimming pool.


We can also go for long walks in the beautiful surrounding country-side or organise horse- riding in a nearby riding school.

On the cultural side our cook gives 3-day cooking coarses which demonstrate the typical dishes of our area.

A visit to one wine cellars offers a chance to taste the famous wines typical of this area like the "sagrantino", "rosso di Montefalco" and "grechetto"; equally interesting is a visit to our local olive oil press when you can follow the whole process of making oil.

In the vicinity of Casa Cantone you can find the most famous centres of umbria .
In the morning after a big breakfast and in company of a guide you can explore cities like Perugia, Assisi,Bettona, Cannara, Foligno,Montefalco ect.
They are all just s few miles far away from the Casa Cantone.

How to reach us
If you are coming from the North by car: take the A1 motorway towards Rome.
Take the Valdichiana exit and follow signs for Perugia, Assisi, Foligno.
On arriving in Foligno take the "Foligno nord" exit and continue, following the signs for "Bevagna" for approximately 8 km.
On reaching the city gates, turn right and follow the sign "Casa Cantone".
You will find our Country House after about 3 km on the right.

If you are coming from the South by car: take the A1 motorway towards Florence.
Take the Orte exit and follow signs for Terni, Spoleto, Foligno.
On arriving in Foligno take the "Foligno nord" exit and continue, following the signs for "Bevagna" for approximately 8 km.
On reaching the city gates, turn right and follow the sign "Casa Cantone".
You will find our Country House after about 3 km on the right
By plane : if you wish to reach Casa Cantone by plane, we recommend the nearest airport to the city of Bevagna which is Sant'Egidio in Perugia.
From the airport, take the S.S.
E45 towards Assisi, Foligno exit "Foligno nord" then follow the signs for "Bevagna" for approximately 8 km.
On reaching the city gates, turn right and follow the sign "Casa Cantone".
You will find our Country House after about 3 km on the right.
