If you are considering to spend your vacations in the Amalfi Coast, and to stay in a B&B, you don‘t‘ need to look further…
… just stop for a moment and you will remain fascinated by one of the most charming B&B of the Amalfi Coast.

Villa Mena is distributed on 2 floors that present rooms with full panoramic view and a large terrace-garden-solarium.
All rooms are double rooms with a king bed and private bathroom, Mini bar, TV color and air conditioning.

To stay in the Amalfi Coast is to experience pure light.
Light that reflects on the water bouncing between rocks and inlets.
Here the beauty is certified, “Campania original”: from Amalfi to Furore, from Positano to Ravello, from Vietri sul Mare to Maiori.

The coast is exciting, with its rolling landscape of tiny white houses nestled on the rocks, tiny cobbled roads, bell towers in majolica and a breathtaking panorama kissed by Mother Nature and by the work of men presenting the onlooker with artistic expressions under the sky rendering the landscape in this area even more exciting.

The tale of emotions is enriched by the arrival in Furore “the town that is not there”, where the houses are placed one after another on a sheer drop from the peak to the sea, where the natural light blends with the murals created by Italian and foreign artists to represent the local myths and traditions.

In the majestic frame of the Amalfi Coast, in a mirage of arcs, domes and stairways sloping down toward the sea, Villa Mena welcomes you in Furore.
With a view facing the Gulf of Salerno, we offer to our guests an extraordinary stay in harmony with the charm and the quietness of the Amalfi Coast.
The environment is extremely enjoyable and a great passion for hospitality is associated to the attention and care to every detail.
The rooms, romantically furnished, all with air conditioning, private bathroom, telephone, balcony, mini bar and T.V., are the expression of a tiny oasis of warm privacy.

The atmosphere that pervades Villa Mena conveys an immediate sensation of comfort, putting guests immediately at ease, surrounded not only by attentive care and quality services but with the attention reserved for friends as well.
Every morning a delicious breakfast (tasteful homemade cakes, artisanal jams, freshly squeezed juices made from the citrus fruit harvested by the trees in the garden, a rigorously Neapolitan coffee) is served at Villa Mena, to be tasted in the wonderful solarium, where you can listen to the sound of silence while being awarded by a breathtaking panorama, the ideal spot for a pleasant stay in the pearl of the Amalfi Coast.

Villa Mena is located in Furore, a privileged starting point to reach the numerous different localities on the coast and inland.
The touristic localities are easily reachable either with public transportation or with a car.
Amalfi is only 15 minutes away from Furore, it takes little more than 20 minutes to reach the “Fiordo di Furore” (Furore‘s Fjord, a favorite spot for Greta Garbo and Stokowski), and about 30 to Positano.
The descent toward the fjord, the “walk of love”, the guided tours by boat to the caves of the coast, it is difficult to imagine excursions that may be equally fascinating and evocative.
These are not advertisement slogans, but customary comments that our guests express when the time of their departure comes, and, while saying good-bye, they announce their firm intention to come back… as soon as they can.
In the course of your stay on the Amalfi Coast, we would like to suggest some places that must be absolutely visited:
- Duomo di Amalfi
- Fiordo di Furore
- Grotta dello Smeraldo
- Ville di Ravello
- Islands of Capri and Ischia
- Pompeii‘s archeological excavations
From Amalfi, once left the “statale 366” that leads to Agerola, 7 Km away from the rocks of the Divine Coast, among the bends of the road revolving around the valley in which it is plunged, on a slope with intensive cultivation of vines and olives, you arrive in Furore.
The ancient name of this whole area was “Terra Furoris”, (Furious Earth) due to the frightful and deafening roar generated by the waves breaking on the cliffs and on the Fjord.

The fishermen-countrymen of the Fjord challenge a sea that is often stormy, and the fruit of sleepless nights enriches their tables, causing the creation of original courses such as “totani e patate” (cuttle-fish and potatoes).
So nowadays, a few kilometers from Amalfi, you may choose a locality that is away from the mass tourism circuit, being aware of finding evocative atmospheres, where the roughness of the terrain is eased by the fantasy of artists that, with their creations, have given a cultural identity to a whole town, such as: Luigi and Rosario Mazzella; Leone Padula; Di Meglio, and foreign artists like the German Fritz Gilow; the Polish Werner Christian Wontroba and the French-Argentine Marco Lopez Bernard.
It is possible to visit the Churches of S.
Giacomo, S.
Michele Arcangelo and S.
Elia.
Furthermore, if you wish to take a walk and you want to descend to the Fjord, there‘s a picturesque tiny stairway of 1,000 steps that will lead you to it.
Along the road, hidden by view are nestled ancient paper-mills, channels, mills, prehistoric caves and magnificent natural scenery, with its tiny fishermen‘s houses, where it feels like you‘re perpetually re-living the atmosphere of a remote age.
