VILLA GIANNINA

“Villa Giannina” is located in a panoramic position, on the provincial road that connects Taormina and Castelmola.
It was built in the 50s and has strong rock walls, obtained from the mountain excavation, wich you can admire from the street.
You can reach the centre and the principal historical Taormina monuments with a short and pleasant walk.
Villa Giannina, has four double rooms, one with a beautiful fireplace.
Two rooms have their own bathroom and the other two share the same bathroom.
The rooms have modern and functional furnishing, air conditioning, satellite TV and refrigerator.
Breakfast is served from 08,30 ’ tilla 10,00 am.
It is a continental breakfast: coffee, tea, milk, yoghurt, juices, fruit, croissant, etc.

Villa Giannina B&B has a small parking.

The parking price is Euro 5,00 per day.
In case, there is not parking available, you can park at "PORTA CATANIA" parking, at 10 minutes from the B&B, and because you are our guests, you have a 40% discount.

HOW TO REACH US:
Villa Giannina B&B could be reached as follows:
From Catania Airport, by coach (every hour) it will stop in Taormina Terminal Bus.
From there you can take the bus that leaves every hour from 7 to 21.45.
From the railway station by bus or by taxi.
From Catania and Messina, you can take the train or the coach that leaves from the railway station Square every hour approx.
By car, once you get to the toll-house, you can follow the traffic signs to the provincial Road for Castelmola, called Via Leonardo da Vinci.

Taormina is very famous, for its beauty, its view, its cultural life and all the past well-known memories.
Its tourist development began one century and half ago, when the great travellers, like Admiral Nelson‘s niece, Lady Bridport, Wolfgang Goethe, Guy de Maupassant and Otto Geleng, made its beauty and history known all over Europe.
Later, a group of wealthy English merchant families moved to taormina.
They built the Anglican Church.
Taormina is at the centre of several Sicilian locations: Mount Etna, Siracusa, Palermo, Eolian Islands, Piazza Armerina, Noto, Gole Alcantara and tourist can choose between many naturalistic itineraries, wine-gastronomic and historic localities.
