"Tenuta Pigliano", characteristic for the rural hospitality it can give, offers its guests the opportunity to appreciate not only the sun and sea which is unique in Salento, but also the beauty and the sweet quietness of the salentina countryside.

“Tenuta Pigliano” is set in the magnificent countryside a little walk to Bagnolo del Salento, a pretty inland village a few kilometres away from Otranto and from the astounding Laghi Alimini beaches.

You can easily get there in few minutes even in crowded periods thanks to a very good road network; you can also easily reach the villages where the main events of the Salentina Summer take place, such as the “Notte delle Taranta” in Melpignano (5 Km.), or the “Festa della Municeddha”(snail fiesta) celebrated in Cannole (2 Km.), or the “Festa te lu Mieru” (wine fiesta) in Carpignano Salentino (Km.6).

The B&B has been built in a quite big family owned country estate, fully covered with almost 500 olive trees, many of which are centuries- old;
in the same estate there is an ancient rural building, recently restored and widened along with most buildings belonging to the typical salentina culture and tradition, wholly made by rough country stones, such as the characteristic “muretti”, “pajari” and “aja”.

Located in the newly built part of the house, guests are offered both double rooms and one apartment, the ideal solution for a family,with a bedroom, a dining room with a bed-settee and a little kitchen;
All our en suite rooms have televisions, air conditioning, safe, and private balcony and they are all furnished with finely restored pieces of ancient furniture.

“Tenuta Pigliano” also offers its guests the opportunity to enjoy the common facilities such as a fully equipped kitchen, an outdoor barbecue and a spacious and attentively cared patio in front of the country house, where breakfast can be served on demand and where guestscan spend and organize their nights in good company.
