The “ Four Sparrows” is an ancient stone hamlet in the hearth of the Romagna hills in the hinterland between the cities of Cesena and Rimini.

Tradition, love and hospitality for every single detail characterise our rooms which warmly welcome our guests all over the year.

They are furnished with traditional Romagna furniture that time has made warm and charming.

All rooms are Twin or king size bedded, wide and comfortable with:

To the ones who wish to have an independent accommodation we offer rooms with kitchen and intermediate floor.

The “Allodola” (Skylark) room is particularly charming and cosy.


It is a real suite whose stone walls together with the atmosphere created by the furniture, the paintings and the old objects will make you live again those ancient times that only the great Romagna poets of the past could describe with their verses.

From the “Rondine” (Dove) room you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama: the coastline from Ravenna to Rimini, the valley and green hills of Roncofreddo and Longiano with their vineyards, the boundless fields under cultivation of fruit and pastures.

The swimming pool is located on a natural tuff stone platform facing the valley in front of the sea.


You can let you rock by the water heated by solar panels and filtered by the tuff or swim enjoying an extraordinary panorama.

The “Quattro Passeri” is located in Santa Paola a small town at 314 mt.
above the sea level at the gates of Roncofreddo, ancient property of the Malatesta family.


The history of our house dates back to the far-off end of the 1800.


Thanks to an expert restoration in the respect of the ancient Romagna traditions today the house can welcome you in an harmonious fusion of “ancient flavours” offering you all the modern comforts for a pleasant and unique stay.

The ancient hamlet has a really beautiful location on the ridge of Santa Paola, surrounded by a park of 30.000 square metres overlooking the Roncofreddo valley and the territory of Longiano.
