Country House Poggio del Drago Bed & Breakfast originates from an old rural stone cottage, originally built at the end of the nineteenth‐century and recently restored, keeping the rural architecture and combining it with the comforts of the modern world.
Built on two levels, the lower floor is entirely consecrated to the B&B that stands in the middle of a hectare park, with age‐old oaks, an olive grove and surrounded by a fence.
You can enjoy a variety of paths through the nature, together with a beautiful swimming pool, that reflects the green of the trees and a thousand reflects from the stainless sky.
A sensually perfumed garden will stimulate your senses with its jasmines, creeping roses and aromatic plants such as rosemary and lavender.

A few days in a relaxing place, with all comforts, but at the same time so close to an uncontaminated nature, being able to appreciate a starry sky like those that you are rarely able to see, a magic silence and a romantic atmosphere.
It‘s because of these reasons that our B&B is especially suitable for couples and families who want to spend a special holiday and forget the stress of everyday life.

In the rooms that we created appositely for you, you will feel like home.
All of them have a private bathroom with huge waterfall showers, hair dryer and courtesy set.
Our comfortable and bright rooms are romantic and sexy, furnished with unmistakable style (Architect Mr.
Liberatori) and taste (Interior decorator Ms.
Lancini), durmast floor and all equipped with air conditioning, plasma TV and satellite connection.
Our guests will be able to move freely since they will be given a magnetic badge that opens the main gate (reserved to B&B guests) and one for the room.
A rich continental buffet breakfast will be served in the common hall – la Mangiatoia – (the manger), as it once was the animals‘ dwelling place, or you can also choose to enjoy it in your room or in the garden.
As for lunch and dinner, we will be pleased to suggest gastronomic itineraries in the many
close by villages, in characteristic taverns where you can enjoy Tuscany‘s typical dishes.

Where we are:
Our B&B is situated in Poggio del Drago, a village within Civitella in Val di Chiana
municipal district, on number 69 provincial road connecting Arezzo to Valdarno on the famous Wine Road.
Because of its geographic position, the climate is always temperate and windy, even in the hottest summer days.
Only 9 km far from Arezzo, reachable in a few minutes‘ drive, from Poggio del Drago you can also easily reach A1 highway, the most famous Tuscany cities, Florence (65 km), Siena (45 km), Cortona (25 km), Casentino‘s forests and Valdarno, Valdichiana and Valdambra‘s countryside.

Poggio del Drago B&B is the ideal starting point for numerous close by excursions to a lot of culturally and artistically important places: Arezzo, Cortona, Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Pienza, Pergine Valdarno, Loro Ciuffenna.
In approximately one hour and a half you can also reach many towns in Umbria, such as Todi, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, Trasimeno lake and many others.
