Amongst the hidden rooms of the Palazzo Seneca a mystical silence surrounds the rooms of the Wellness Centre.
Barrel-vaulted ceilings and antique stone tiles make an ideal space in the Sibilla Room to enjoy a wonderful massage, or, perhaps, relax in a tranquil area to sip a tisane made with herbs from the National Park area of Monte Sibillini.
The stone hydromassage bath for up to 6 people is in a private room and adjoins the Turkish bath and sauna rooms.

GASTRONOMY
Due to the Bianconi‘s family culinary art, in the medieval atmosphere of the restaurant Granaro del Monte, national monument, it is possible to rediscover the genuine taste of antique norcian tradition.
The success of this cuisine is based on three key elements: tradition, simplicity and genuine ingredients.
On the a la carte menu, you can chose some revamped traditional recipes such as: home made pasta with black truffle, barley soup, truffle risotto, pasta with wild boar, pasta with sagrantino, and the typical dish, fillet steak with truffles.
For those with a sweet tooth you can find home made tarts with ricotta and lentils, “spumoni all‘ amaretto” and much more.
This is only a sample of the restaurant‘s menu, which is accompanied by an excellent range of Umbrian and other wines.
The Restaurant “Granaro Del Monte” is also the oldest restaurant in Umbria, as it has been running for 150 years.
It is a historical culinary monument, and it has been chosen as one of the “Historic places in Italy”.

ART AND CULTURE
The town of Norcia – Norcia was founded by the Sabine at the foot of the Sibylline Mountains, by the 2nd century BC it had become a thriving Roman town.
The town of Norcia is surrounded by a city wall from the 1300‘s and is completely intact.
The town is full of artistic history, it offers more than just its charm and its itineraries into the countryside, and it has wonderful local food.
Norcia is a gastronomic paradise.
The lentils of Castellucio, the barley and the black truffle – the prince of Norcia‘s recipes – its cheeses and the Norcineria – the salamis and cured pork made in the fine traditional way has made Norcia World famous.

From the North West: Motorway A1 (Florence – Rome) Exit at Valdichiana and follow signs for Perugia, after Perugia get on the ss75 in the direction of Assisi and then Spoleto on ss3.
5 km before Spoleto exit for Norcia.
From the north east and south east: Motorway A14 (Bologna – Taranto) Exit at San Benedetto del Tronto and go in the direction of Ascoli Piceno, continue in the direction of Rome and before Arquata exit for Norcia.
From South East: Motorway A1 (Florence – Rome) Exit at Orte, follow signs for Terni and then Spoleto, Drive through Spoleto and after 5kms you see the exit for Norcia.
