The “Nido Verde” opened its doors for the first time as a Hotel and Restaurant in 1960 under the ownership of Catello Somma.
We have six comfortable and welcoming rooms, furnished in an elegant but homely way, all coming with their own private bathroom and balconies.
Within the rooms themselves you will find all the necessary comforts: heating, telephone, cable TV, hairdryer and safe.
How to reach us:
By car: Whether coming from north or south of Naples take the A3 Napoli-Salerno motorway and take the exit for Castellammare di Stabia and then continue in the direction of Agerola/Amalfi along the SS 366 motorway.
By train: The closest train station is Napoli Centrale
There are hourly SITA buses from Napoli Porta Vecchia Immacolata which take just 1 hour to reach Agerola.
Alternatively, it is also possible to catch a ferry or hydrofoil from the Beverello pier to Amalfi from where you can then take a bus
By air: The closest airport is the Capodichino International Airport of Naples.

To make your journey as comfortable as possible the Hotel offers its guests transfers form/to both the airport and train station.
What to see:
In the village of Agerola, overlooking the Amalfi Coast.
The hotel is situated only 50 metres from the first few steps of the world famous walk “The Path of the Gods”, and close by to the beginnings of many other beautiful walking trails, ideal for lovers of the outdoors.
What the location also offers is the perfect base to visit the most important places in the Campania region.
Good local bus sevice (as well as the walking trails!) will take you to the historic port town of Amalfi, the elegant towns of Positano, Sorrento and Capri, Ravello famous for its art and music, the ancient city of Pompeii, the famous archaeologial site of Herculaneum and then last, but not least, the fusions of Naples itslef.
Trekking and Walks:
Who would imagine that after a relatively short journey from the Amalfi Coast you can reach the beautiful walking country of Agerola.
It is possible to wander through the luscious vegetation of the nearby mountains at your own leisure or led by expert guides which can be organised through the hotel and take in the breathtaking views offered by this unique area combining the magic of the Amalfi Coast with the splendour of the Lattari Mountains.
As if this wasnt enough the area is rich in culture, art and traditions dating back thousands of years illustrated by secluded chapels and imposing castles among many other things.
The Path of the God (8Km)
From the main square of Bomerano, is the most famous walk in this area, offering a fantastic panorama of the sorrentine peninsula and the possibility of admiring unique geological formations
Hawks Peak Path (6Km)
From the square (piazza San Martino), following a stepped mule track it is possible to reach a beautiful ledge called Pontechito which offers magnificent views over the Agerola valley.
Continuing further on you can reach Hawks Peak above Venes hill which overlooks Amalfi, Ravello and Salerno.
Three Calli Path (6Km)
Starting from the main square of Bomerano and leading towards Pendola and Paipo, passing “Casinos house” (an acient dwelling) you reach a ridge called Capo Muro.
Turning south along the Calavrice crest you reach the Three Calli peaks with a stunning 360° view overlooking Agerola and the Amalfi Coast.
Pinos Gorge Path (5Km)
Once again departing from Bomerano main square a mule track leads you to Santa Barbara grotto, and from there crossing the valley below the grotto you reach the main road which takes you to the beginning of the path to gorge of Schiatos torrent.
After crossing the stream next to a disused mill you begin the climb to the village of San Lazzaro.
The Path of the Ancient Republic (4Km)
Starting in San Lazzaro but this time from the punta Belvedere you descend an ancient set of steps to Tovere and Vettica Minore eventually reaching the Santa Croce beach where you can relax and bathe in the refreshing waters.
Springs Path (5Km)
With the “Leggia” waters spring as your starting point, follow the path which skirts the green valley along the Penise river.
Weaving your way through chestnut groves.
Along the way there are ancient craggy refuges, many springs: Fiubana, San Giuliano, Acqua Fredda and finally at a height of 1000 metres there is the Vracciara spring where you will be astounded by the view of mount Vesuvius and the bay of Naples.
Praias Path (4Km)
From the main square in Bomerano a mule track leads you to Santa Barbara grotto and continuing directly underneath Santa Barbara grotto , the path crosses the river Praia and leads on to Praiano and Vettica Maggiore.
Coming out on the main coastal road next to St Lukes church and a steep stairway leading to Cala di Rezzola.
Giants Teeth Path (7Km)
Taking a mule track behind St Peters church in Pianillo you ascend to Locoli hill where this track intersects with the “High Lattari way”.
Going west around the pyramid-shaped Mount St Angelo you reach the top of the highest peack in the Lattari Mountains range.
Downs Path (4Km)
Beginning in the centre of San Lazzaro you go up the main road to Radicosa and then following an old mule track to Muriellos mountain circling the mountain in a south easterly direction and then heading south the path brings you out at the medieval Cospita Convent.
Fishermans Warf Path (4Km)
An old stairway leading steeply down to the coast, going along a deep gorge you reach the fiord of Furore an old fishing village recently restored to its former glory.
