LE MARASCHINE

The “le maraschine” b&b is situated in the umbria countryside, on the Sagrantino wine road, between spoleto and montefalco, in the Castel ritaldi district.
The property, with 8 sleepings, built and furnished with the typical style of the traditional umbria‘s houses, makes her guests comfortable with a familiar and friendly treatment perfect for who‘s looking for quite and relaxing moments…
At the ground floor two big brick arches separate the common guests spaces: the entrance, the kitchen and the living room within the 2 sleepings sofa/bed, tv, wooden bookcase and a fireplace.
From the living room, up to the stairs, you immediately see the wooded roof of the second floor.
This floor holds the 3 bedrooms and outside, with the terrace access, a laundry.
The bedrooms, decorated with simplicity but with good taste, can holds 6 guests.
The biggest one got a king size bed, a tv and a private bathroom with shower and hair drier.
The second one, smaller than the first but always with 2 sleepings and tv, shares the main bathroom (witch include hair drier, shower and bathtub) with the third room which has a single bed and a cradle for eventual baby guests…
Outside, the property offers a small but chill out relax area under the trees shadows…

Flaminia: exit at Campello at the traffic roundabout 1° exit - direction Beroide - Castel Ritaldi go straight on to Castel San Giovanni, before passing the old castle (on the left) turn right and enter on Piazza (square) Don Pietro Bonilli.

From south: highway A1: exit at Orte direction Terni – Spoleto – Trevi S.S.

In The small village of castel s.Giovanni there are also a bar and a restaurant, both placed at a few metres from the B&B, and if you need services like banks, atm, post office, pharmacy, marts, pizzeria, bookstall, clothing stores, swimming pool you can easily go to the near village of La Bruna, who is just 2.5 km far.
The “Le Maraschine” B&B is situated in a strategic position, who allows to easily reach a lot of the beautiful places of umbria: Spoleto, Clitunno lakes, Marmore Waterfalls near Terni, Foligno, Bevagna,Todi ; the religions cities like Assisi, norcia e cascia, birthplace of saints like saint Francis, saint benedict and saint Rita ; the great cities of wine like Montefalco, Torgiano and Orvieto.
