The hotel is located in a medieval building in the heart of the village, which first appeared in historical documents as far back as A.D.
1200.

Located in the "Crete Senesi" in the picturesque geographical triangle of Buonconvento, Pienza and Sinalunga, this medieval treasure is 60 minutes by car from Perugia, 45 minutes by car from Siena, Cortona and Arezzo, 25 minutes from Montalcino or Montepulciano, 20 minutes from Pienza or San Quirico d‘Orcia, and only 5 minutes from San Giovanni d'Asso or Trequanda.


The Locanda was completely restored in 2001, with great attention devoted to maintaining its historic authenticity.

The Locanda has 7 charming and comfortable bedrooms, all with Tuscan tile floors and the original wooden ceiling beams.

The Locanda offers breakfast included in the daily price, however guests are free to breakfast on their own.
We are happy to give hospitality to all types of animal.

We maintain a network of select, small, charming, high quality restaurants within a 30 minutes‘ drive where you can enjoy everything from a single course to a typical Tuscan 5-course meal costing less than € 35, beverages not included.
