Alghero is the tourist capital of the Riviera del Corallo.
Situated on a beautiful wide and rare stretch of the north-western coastline of Sardinia, its coasts are full of small, solitary bays, hiding soft beaches, bordered by thick pine forests, and jagged reefs bathed by an emerald green sea.

It is a Catalan town in Sardinia, an island on an island.
The mild climate, the transparent sea of extraordinary colours, and the heady perfume of the Mediterranean vegetation that surrounds it, are all part of this invitation for a pleasant and carefree stay.

Alghero is also art, with its gothic-Catalan churches.
It is history, with its fortified walls, the towers, and the Aragonese buildings.
It is tradition, with the rites of sacred representations, the costumes, and the refined handicrafts with coral and filigree, and it is culture, with the Catalan spoken by the cordial and hospitable people.

This is a true paradise for sport-lovers, who can go fishing, swimming, underwater hunting, windsurfing, and sailing, play tennis and horse ride in the area.
Alghero is an uncontaminated oasis for underwater photography and archaeology.
Incredible trips exploring the many prehistoric ruins of nuraghe and ’domus de janas‘, can further enrich your stay.

There are numerous manifestations, shows, people‘s festivals, bars and cafés in the centre, nightclubs, and thousands of other opportunities for entertainment and recreation.
A holiday in Alghero has no season, is uninterrupted, and always full of ideas.
