CASA ARMONIA is located right in the heart of Pizzos historic town centre, in an 18th century building, overlooking the splendid Tyrrhenian sea.
CASA ARMONIA provides Bed & Breakfast accommodation in a superb apartment which features charming and comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms.
In addition to the standard facilities, guests are welcome to use the large terrace, where they can enjoy a sumptuous breakfast in good weather; the friendly owners are always pleased to chat to their guests, who can feel free just to relax in the sun.
On particularly clear days, you can see the entire SantEufemia Gulf, and even make out the volcano on mount Stromboli in the Eolian islands.
A short stroll from the house stands the Angevin-Aragonese castle, known as the “Murat” because it was where on 13th October 1815, Gioacchino Murat, king of Naples and brother-in-law of Napoleon Bonaparte, was shot.
Piazza della Repubblica, known to the locals as the towns “living room”, is just a short walk away.
Pizzos bars are a must for anyone who wants to taste the excellent, and very renowned homemade ice creams.
The charming little church of Piedigrotta, hollowed into the tuff lies around a kilometre from the centre.
Unique of its kind, it is the most famous, and well-visited site in Calabria after that of the Bronzes of Riace.
