BORGO CASATO

BORGO CASATO is a finely restored ancient country house, surrounded by a wide garden, characterized with old olive-trees and a beautiful swimming pool, 6x18 mt.
Set in a panoramic location, in the middle of Chianti countryside, you will feel like being in a wonderful postcard.
The area is particularly quiet and unpolluted.
Siena and the most famous artistic sites are just a few minutes far from here.
BORGO CASATO is the ideal place where to spend a relaxing holiday, and have the nice feeling of passing some days adsorbed in a marvellous countryside.

The rooms have a Tuscan style with showed wooden beams and terra-cotta floors.
Every room has a private bathroom with shower or basin, air-dryer, air-conditioning, telephone, TV-sat, minibar and all comforts.
The apartments are arranged on two floors.
They are composed of a living room with a kitchenette, TV-sat, and a sofa-bed on the ground floor, and a big double room with TV and telephone on the first floor.
The private bathroom with basin is also on the first floor.

The surrounding countryside offers the chance to visit the hills by mountain biking or horse riding.
A few kilometres from BORGO CASATO you will also find the “Berardenga Riding Centre”, where professional instructors will guide you in excursions through our enchanted nature.

Deep inside these landscapes rich of vineyards, it will be a pleasure to taste the best Tuscan wines in ancient wineries and cellars.
You will also have the chance to visit with an expert guide those farms that made Tuscan wines so famous all over the world.

Siena, with the “Contrade”, Piazza del Campo, its churches and historical buildings, is just 20 km from BORGO CASATO.
The 2nd of July and the 16th of August, every year, in Piazza del Campo, there is the famous and historical horse racing, “Il Palio”.
Siena with its beauties is a unique town, known all over the world.
At 50/60 km from here then, you can reach other important towns, that make Tuscany so famous, like Firenze, Arezzo, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montalcinoand its Brunello, Pienza and Montepulciano.
In more or less an hour, you can also reach the Mar Tirreno seaside.

Rapolano Thermal Baths:
Just 7 km from here, there are Rapolano Thermal Baths, a famous thermal site.
Here you will have the opportunity to restore you body and mind.
