Torre Tenosa, located close to the old university town of Camerino, is a 14th-century watchtower, which in medieval times used to belong to the Duchy of Varano chain of towers.
Its renovation was finished in 2004 creating a unique and comfortable holiday home for 2-4 people. The character of the tower from the ground floor to the roof has been maintained using a gallery-style bed and bathroom (1st and 2nd floors).
The tower is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, Internet access via laptop computer, telephone, Sat-TV and new furniture.
Throughout the renovation importance was placed on using environmentally sound building materials and paints. During the colder winter months a modern copper-tubing heating system hidden in the walls maintains a warm and cosy atmosphere.
An independent access road to a private car park in front of the tower ensures easy access.
